We have received notice that this years Onchan Commissioner’s Civic Sunday Parade will be taking place on Sunday 27. July 2008. All Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts are invited to attend. Further details will be sent out nearer the date.

The Group is holding a Hike Camp Weekend open to Scouts and Explorer Scouts. The camp will be based at Peel Commissioners Camp Site and runs from the 11. – 13. July 2008. The letter for the Hike Camp Weekend is now available by clicking here.

Members of the Group and the Onchan District Explorer Scouts are currently working on the Scoreboards at the 2008 TT Races.

The final payment for the Group Camp is due in by the 31. May 2008. Those going on the camp are asked to ensure payment is made by this date. Final Details including Kit List, Medical Forms etc, will be going out mid June.

The Kayak Training Weekend held over the 24. – 25. May 2008, had an early finish on the Sunday due to hind winds. Snaefell Cubs went Kayaking and played Crazy Golf at Onchan Park on the 15. May 2008.  The weather was great, all the Cubs and Leaders who took part really enjoyed themselves. Everyone got a bit wet due to the amount of splashing and only the one Cub Scout capsized.
