Members of 2nd Onchan’s Moddey Dhoo and Phoenix Scout Troops walked out to Conister Rock on Tuesday 27. April 2010. The tide was very low, which made the walk possible. Afterwards a few games were played on the beach before everyone was treated to chips.

An Orienteering Competition is being held on Sunday 2. May 2010 at Colden Plantation, West Baldwin, from 13:50 to 16:30. The competition is open to all Island Scouts, Explorer Scouts, Network Members and Leaders. Hopefully we will get a good turn out from members of 2nd Onchan. Further information can be found here.

During 2009, the main hall was redecorated and this week the Kitchen, Cloaks Area, Den and Toilets have all been repainted. It’s now eight years since we built the new hall and carried out the changes to the old building, so a lick of paint was definitely due.
