On Monday it was a bank holiday so instead of a usual Cub Meeting we met at the Venture Centre for activities including Archery, Air Riffle Shooting & the Assault Course. Fun was had by all and the rain and wind didn’t dampen the Cubs spirits.

Last week the Scouts in the Phoenix Troop tie dyed their own T-Shirts. Last night some of them remembered to bring them back so we could have a look a choose the best one. In the end we gave out prizes to the best four shirts.
We will be holding a Raffle at our Groups Quiz Night on the 18. May 2012. If anyone would like to donate a prize for the raffle, it would be gratefully received. Raffle Prizes can either be brought along on the night or dropped into the Scout Hall and given to a Leader.
Members of 2nd Onchan and Onchan District Explorers joined other members of the Scout Association on the Isle of Man for the annual St. George’s Day Parade and Service, which this year took place in Ramsey. Everyone paraded along the promenade and the service took place in Mooragh Park.
