INVESTITURES

Last week we invested two new boys into Thursday Beavers – they were Charlie M and Finley M. The boys have settled in very quickly and they were both really excited and looking forward to getting invested and receiving their badges and scarves. Welcome to both our new starters – we hope you enjoy your time with Thursday Beavers and 2^nd Onchan Scout Group.

BEAVERS!

Last week Thursday Beavers worked on their Beaver Agent Cards. We weighed and measured the height of each Beaver and recorded these details on their cards. We then tried to find which Beaver was the closest to the length and weight of a ‘real’ beaver. Beavers can grow as long as 120cm and weigh up to 20kg. Two Thursday Beavers matched these measurements perfectly – Thomas M and Kian L!
