Membership Subscriptions for the current term are now due.

The fee per term is £34.00 (the Scouting year is made up of three terms which match school terms).

Subs help to pay for the running of the Scout Group, the purchasing of badges, certain activities, maintenance of the Scout Hall and include the yearly Capitation Fee which we have to pay to the Scout Association; this is currently over £45.50 for each and every member of the Group.  Leaders are not paid.

Unfortunately, we do struggle to get Subs off members every term. Leaders would rather put their time into running activities than chasing late payers. Payment of subs by Bank Transfer is preferred.

Scouting however is for all, irrespective of financial means, if you are struggling to pay your child’s Subs, or struggle to pay via BACS, then please speak to your child’s section Leader in confidence.
