During 2011 2nd Onchan Scout Group celebrates its 50th Birthday. There was a 2nd Onchan Scout Group which started in Onchan in 1911, but that disappeared in the dim and distant past. Beaver Scouts from 2nd Onchan’s Thursday Beaver Scout Colony visited the Douglas Fire Station on the 18. November 2010. The Beavers were shown all the Fire and Rescue Equipment and also got a go at using the fire hoses!

2nd Onchan Beaver Scouts took part in a leg of the Beavers Three Legs Challenge on the 21. November 2010. They all walked from St. John’s to Peel.
