Scouts from 2nd Onchan Scouts Moddey Dhoo Troop have decided to get behind The Isle of Man’ Children centre’s latest Charity Drive with a Fun Day for the whole family.
As part of the £50 Think Big Challenge the Scouts were given six weeks and £50 to raise as much money as possible. After a round of passionate debating by the troop patrol leaders, who hold the most responsibility in the troop, it was decided to hold a fun day.
Some of the activities planned by the Scouts depending on weather include tea and coffee stands, beat the keeper stand, bouncy castle, cake sale, sponge a scout area and a version of a coconut shy.
The Fun Day will be held in and around the 2nd Onchan Scout Hut opposite Onchan school on Sunday 12th February between 11am and 3pm and is open to all members of the public.
