Over the weekend 13. – 14. July 2012, some of the Sixers and Seconders from the Manannan Cub Pack visited Watertrough Cottage. Everyone arrived by 7pm, and after a quick briefing we went on a small hike up South Barrule, all Cubs and Leaders made it without any problems and after a very quick decent down, we played some Man Hunt games in the plantation followed by roasting Marshmallows on a open fire. After this we have supper and went to bed.

The next morning was an early start, after breakfast we all travelled to Peel where we did some Coasteering with Adventurous Experiences, all the Cubs had a really good time and even Akela and Mark joined in the activity as well. It was very tricky and the Sea was a bit rough but all the Cubs managed to cope with everything that was thrown at us. After some lunch in Peel, we travelled back to Watertrough to finish off the Promise Challenge Badge work before heading off home. Well done to all the Cubs who were there over the weekend, and a special thanks must go to Kieron and George for the Coasteering and not forgetting all the thousands of Midgies at Watertrough Cottage.
