A date has been set for the all Island St. George’s Day Parade, it’s Sunday 22. April 2012 and the parade will be taking place in Ramsey. The open air service will be held in Mooragh Park, if the weather is fine. All members of 2nd Onchan (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts) will be expected to take part. St. George as well as being the Patron Saint of England is also the Patron Saint of Scouting and it’s for that reason we celebrate St. Georges Day with a Parade and Service. It’s also the only time during the year when all members of the Scout Association – Isle of Man, have the chance of getting together. Date has been added to our Group Calendar.
